THE DRIVING SCHOOL:*

The School will provide the training in a timely and professional manner.
The School will provide all course materials at no additional cost.
A course outline will be explained to the trainee prior to signing this contract.
If the School cancels a lesson, every effort will be made to accommodate the student and to reschedule the lesson as soon as possible.
Instructors all have a valid Vulnerable Sector Check.

THE TRAINEE:*

Must hold a minimum class 5, non GDL licence for training.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Must be able to pass a driver’s medical exam.
Training must be completed within 1 year as per policy of Alberta Transportation.
Any acts of negligence on the trainee/student’s part that results in damages or fines
will be the responsibility of the trainee/student.
Unacceptable behavior (use or possession of drugs/alcohol, swearing, tardiness) will
not be tolerated and the School may discontinue the lesson at the trainee/student’s
expense.
Cell phone use is not permitted during classroom, in-yard or in-vehicle training.
Trainee/student must provide 24 hours cancellation notice of in-vehicle training.
Cancellation due to illness will be reviewed. (See Cancellation Policy)
Trainee/student is responsible for the payment of the knowledge and road test.

REFUND POLICY:

If written notice of withdrawal is received within seven (7) calendar days after the student has registered, and before the start of instruction, the School will retain $200.
If a student is dismissed or does not show up, there will be no refund given.

CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOWS*:

It is your instructor’s responsibility to remain at the meeting point for 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time, after which the on-road session is considered a no show and a fee of $100 will be charged to the payee.

Please note: Driving lessons may be cancelled/rescheduled at short notice in the event of severe winter weather/storms, school bus cancellations, or personal emergencies.

* Reduced fee of $375 per student for S-Endorsement only if 7 students or more are enrolled simultaneously (group enrollment only).

Trainee is responsible to provide or rent the vehicle for the in-yard, in-vehicle and practical exam(s)

I will provide a bus at my own expense for the training. (If the bus is deemed unsafe, it will not be used)

I will need to rent a school bus to complete the training. * (Bus rental $100/hour)

This course qualifies for reduced insurance rates with some companies. Please check with your insurance provider to find out more information.*
